What Hubert Stanton doesn't like about Alla Famiglia Restaurant:
the food and service was great, but we were all very disappointed by the cocktails. we visited many upscale restaurants in the city that would not and would not be a drink that is 1/2 to 3/4 full. for example, our 6oz cocktail glasses were maybe 4oz including ice. this has a visible gap of 2oz. our martinis were perhaps 1/2 full. this is not acceptable in a fine restaurant that calculates the highest dollar. The food is absolutely fantastic! Staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and couldn't be better. Cacio e pepe is amazing!
The dishes we had were prepared with sauces on the sweeter side than what I'm used to. I will go back again and try other items and give a full review. My experience with food, ambience and service was a 5 star.
Everything about this place is excellent. We went for a birthday last night and will definitely be back. Our server was new and we were her first table ever and she did a fantastic job. I’ve always thought that a Caesar salad was a Caesar salad no matter where you are but this place makes the best I’ve ever had. It’s hard to impress someone with something seemingly as insignificant as a side salad, but it was possibly the highlight of the night. The portions are huge, the bread and fried cheese were awesome, and the leftover chicken parmigiana is now serving as my breakfast today. I can’t say enough good things about this place.
Fine dining and excellent service. The veal chop is not to be missed. Loved the little touches to make us feel special on our anniversary.
One of my favorite places to enjoy fine dining in the Pittsburgh area. Absolutely undoubtedly delicious
