Phenomenal selection of beer both on tap and in bottles/cans, and pretty decent selection of wine. You can also get cocktails from a sister cocktail bar down the hall. Food is limited to panini-like sandwiches, meat and cheese board, and a few selections of raw bar, also from next door. So not a great selection of food, but then you aren't here for the food are you? But nice to have something to go with the beer if y... View all feedback.
What Megan Roberts doesn't like about The Whining Pig Desert Ridge:
Would not recommend. It’s basically a bar with some pub food. We ordered a $14 charcuterie board. And it literally looked like it was made with food from a grocery store. Dried apricots and whole walnuts. Looked like it was all from Costco. I got a panini with chips. And they were ruffles that were just put in a little bowl. $40 on happy hour for low quality food. Amazing service, strong drinks and excellent snack charcuterie board!
This place is awesome. A great atmosphere and fun games to play while you drink. The beer selection is top notch. Their grilled cheese sandwiches are somehow delicious and should be ordered every time you go.
Always a great tab list of beers, and if you don't want that they have a ton in bottles and also like over a hundred different wines to choose from. Service is great! Shout out to Michael being awesome! And same goes for Joey and his mustache! Always a great time here and my local favorite!
Interesting little bar, we went because they advertised trivia but were not doing trivia. Had some good beers and conversations with friends. It's down the stairs and I walked past the entrance twice.
Poor service and over-priced. You can do far better in this area.
