Was Anonym at Tarbell's a mag?
A true gem in the neighborhood. The food is consistently unique, featuring a delightful variety and stunning presentation. Choosing what to order is the toughest part, as there’s something for everyone. The wine list is excellent, offering both glass and bottle options. Ideal for a date night or a gathering with friends, the romantic atmosphere adds to the experience. Every meal feels like a celebration here. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Tarbell's:
Not impressed. They seem to be resting on their laurels. Perhaps used to once be a great restaurant. Now struggles to even be average. Food-average to below average. Service-average. Doubt I will return. View all feedback.

Always love coming here!! Vesper cocktail was amazing

First time out after reopening and we loved the new tables and space! So nice to be back

I was so thrilled when I feasted my eyes, and then my taste buds, on the fresh Maryland soft shelled crab, that I actually cried. Served with saffron, jasmine rice, tomato coulis, spinach and preserved lemon sauce, the two jumbo crustaceans were lightly coated with a tempura that was ethereal, which one dictionary describes as "extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world I couldn't say it better myself

Love Tarbell's. Part of it was feeling divinely led here to celebrate 2 years ago. Recently I was traveling on my birthday. I was going to stay in the hotel because of a leftover dessert, and take it easy. God wanted to bless me. Their seafood isincredible, everything is incredible. After finding out it was my birthday, they surprised me with this choc. mousse dessert. One of my favorite restaurants in the U.S. Go spend it, you're worth it.

This restaurant probably doesn't need a positive review given its following and history but there are a few things I want to highlight. First, dining at Tarbell's is a luxury experience. The menu is filled with a variety of entrees and other dishesthat cover a wide range of tastes. The service is impeccable with people teaming to ensure your every need is met. One ofthe most unique features is their willingness to split entrees if you are torn between two dishes. In my case, I had thechicken and seared halibut which you can see in the photo I posted. It's a wonderful way to extend your experience withoutadding cost. If you drink alcoholic beverages then be prepared to see your bill rise considerably. Mixed drinks and wine comeat a premium price. That is pretty typical for fine dining. The one dish I cannot recommend is the corn ribs appetizer. Ours lacked flavor and substance although it was interesting to look at. Really more of a novelty dish. I look forward to mynext visit there and always appreciate how delicious the food is and the masterful preparation of chicken, pasta, seafood andsteaks. It a gem that I hope will be with us for many years to come.
