Every necessary precaution was taken due to yet the ambiance and atmosphere were warm and welcoming. The Chef even came to our table to say hello. Such a wonderful experience, will definitely return soon

Always consistent; highly trained staff who recognize your needs; innovative dishes served with flair; top-drawer wine list and bar selections. Victoria’s martini made with Plymouth gin was perfect, as always. First course was a tomato tartare salad; next was flank steak grilled med rare, complemented by a bottle of Cote du Rhône. There wasn’t room for a dessert. Next time. I’ve been coming to this restaurant since Mark opened it in There simply isn’t another restaurant of its caliber in the Valley.

We... read more We were looking online for a nice restaurant for date night while on vacation from out of town and we ran across Tarbell’s here on Google. One word, AMAZING. We were able to get a reservation for a Friday night the morning of and from the get go ourtime here was great! First off, the hostesses were so kind and thoughtful. They were running a little late and weren’t readyto seat us at our reservation time so they helped us find a seat at the bar to wait. Then they came and checked on us so wedidn’t feel forgotten. The hostess that sat us down, I wish she was our waitress. She was so kind and was very happy to pointout her favorites on the menu when we asked for her opinion. She said she doesn’t get asked much as a hostess, but loves itwhen she does get asked. We ordered the shrimp tempura (our favorite dish all evening), duck?? ragout with creamy polenta (5stars), and not pictured the burger (amazing, and what the hostess and our waitress recommended). We also ordered sides ofBrussel sprouts and mac cheese, these I was disappointed in and wouldn’t order again. Sorry for the long review! But thisplace is amazing and you have to go! If we are ever back in Phoenix, we will return.
