Undertow Arcadia - Phoenix

I've been trying to try this place for a long time and I finally made it! Honestly, I really liked it! Very cool concept. It is basically a large building with three smaller, separate bars that are independent... platform 18, which is an old school train car theme, Grey Hen Rx, which is a step into an older New Orleans bar, and Undertow, a ship themed bar (Denke Pirate ship). Undertow is rocky and very cool. Dim lighting. Small windows designed like the windows of an old ship that play a video as you “view”. All wooden interiors with other cool simulations such as light smoke, lightning from a storm, etc. The bar offers were super, super friendly and helpful with drinks selection. The cocktail options are numerous so you have no problem finding one that suits you. The drinks were excellent and were so good! Try it anyway. I can't wait to go back and try the other two!

This place was great! A wide selection of cocktails that are all picturesque. Our server Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly. The place is visually amazing and beautiful atmosphere, just catch some drinks with a date or some friends. If you make a reservation, there is an immediate fee per person, but they do credit that to the bill, so I had no problems with it. Share the same building with Platform 18 at Century and The Grey Hen Rx at Century Grand, so you can see all 3 in the same outing if you want and they all look very cool. Look at this

I love this place. I've been here several times and it's really never disappointed. The atmosphere and the ambience are spot-on. The best part is to see the bartenders have fun on the job. Simply smiles around while you can enjoy exquisite drinks with any different taste profile you can imagine. From the 48 drinks they have on the menu there is something for everyone. This is absololutley my favorite place in the valley for a drink/date night.

This place is cool! Walking in takes you to a completely new place and the small space feels like a secret. The drinks are all interesting, though I wish they were described better. I do miss the menus with stories and we had a bit of lag time ordering drinks. What an experience!

Amazing atmosphere. Everyone in our group loved their drink!! Our server has selected my drinks based on my taste preference. In any case, recommend checking the menu before it arrives on the table due to the time limit. As long as you know in Undertow that you have a 90-minute table limit and the room is small, you should be good!
