Ono Hawaiian Bbq - Phoenix

I was in a bind when a Hawaiian company backed out the night before my event, but luckily my coworker recommended Ono on Thomas and 39th St to handle the catering. I am so grateful for their last-minute assistance and for going above and beyond to help. The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic thanks you for your support!

I was disappointed with the unprofessional service at this restaurant. As a delivery driver, I arrived at 5:24pm to pick up an order. A new employee, who I had never seen before, was working behind the counter and refused to fill a fountain drink included in the order. He claimed that he was only told to do certain tasks. I explained that I was not an employee and left without picking up the order.

I decided to visit this restaurant for the first time on my way to the airport. I opted for the pick 2 option which included chicken katsu and BBQ chicken. The food was delicious, but the salad could have used more dressing. The wait time was longer than anticipated considering there were only 3 people in the restaurant.

The food is always great. The wait is a little long, but always worth it. We've tried almost everything on their menu and have yet to be disappointed

I tried here today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Pick 2 plate with BBQ chicken and BBQ Beef with a side of macaroni salad. The protein came on a bed of white rice with salad on the side. Very generous portion for the price of$14.99! The meat was seasoned and flavorful, rice qas jasmine I believe and cooked correctly, I enjoyed the salad also but itcould have used a tab bit more dressing. The macaroni salad was simple and with some added cracked pepper it was pretty goodalso. I will be back!
