The menu is both ambitious and varied, so be sure to come with an appetite. The staff was superb. My only gripe was with my IPA, which I assumed would be a signature brew given its name, but it turned out to be flat. A few staff members noticed but didn’t seem aware that it lacked carbonation entirely. I'm uncertain whether the issue was with the line or the keg, but I was informed it had just been tapped. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would gladly give it another shot if I'm ever back in town.
Furthermore, the service was quite slow. It took us more than 30 minutes after we finished our meal to get a takeout box, settle the bill, and finally leave. I should also point out that the online menu prices did not match what we encountered in person, as most items were more expensive than advertised. Please update your website!
The service at this taproom is friendly, and the food is quite enjoyable. What makes this place stand out from other taprooms is its fully-equipped kitchen. There's a small parking lot with free parking available. Inside, you'll find ample seating, including some distinctive old church pews. It would be nice if they offered straws for water only upon request. The beer selection is generally average to above average. The taproom is located in an older building with a bit of history, so be sure to take a look at the pictures accompanied by historical plaques.
In my pursuit of finding a fantastic craft beer selection for my guests, while also satisfying my own appetite, we chose to have lunch at Mother’s. Located in downtown Phoenix, the food was truly impressive, taking bar cuisine to a whole new level. The menu features a regularly updated variety of craft beers, with the option to sample a flight of four for just $9. The bartender, who was exceptionally knowledgeable about the brewing process, informed us that some of the beers are brewed on-site. My guest was thoroughly impressed by the quality and flavor of the selections. Beyond the typical bar fare like sandwiches and burgers, Mother’s also offers some exciting options, such as mussels and a vegetable pâté made from peas and cilantro. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
Friendly staff and tasty food make Mother Bunch Brewing stand out, especially because it has a full kitchen, unlike many other taprooms. There’s a small, free parking lot available. The interior is charming, featuring unique elements like old church artifacts. One small improvement would be to offer straws with water only upon request. The beer selection ranges from average to above average. The taproom is housed in a nearby historic building, which is highlighted with historical maps on display.
