Filiberto's Mexican Food - Phoenix

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. Not only did they get my order wrong, but when I went back to get it corrected, I found a fingernail in my taco. The manager tried to blame my 2-year-old son for the nail, claiming it couldn't have been the cooks because they wear gloves. However, I witnessed one of the cooks rolling a burrito without gloves on. It took the police getting involved for them to finally give me a refund.

My favorite dish at this restaurant is the breakfast burrito with bacon and eggs. I also enjoy the carne asada burrito, Texas burrito, and Arizona burrito. I would advise against ordering the rice, beans, and meat bowl as it is dry and lacks flavor. Additionally, I did not enjoy the Cabeza Taco as it had no flavor, even when paired with the red and green sauce.

The burro de cabeza was disappointing, with no flavor and an overwhelming amount of onions. It was a terrible burrito. However, the quesadilla de carnitas was decent.

13. Chimichanga Plate was so good the beef was very juicy and a huge portion!
