Your typical neighborhood hidden gem. Nestled into a strip mall sandwiched between a bar and a dispensary. Once inside, you get the counter service diner feel. The food though is excellent. Whether it is a gyro or chicken dish, the portions are large and they taste fantastic.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Robert Christie doesn't like about Chicago Gyros:
I usually just get a lamb/beef gyro, which are pretty good. But we tried two orders of the fish and chips the other night. Me and my wife's stomach were wrecked for about 24 hours. I'm sticking to JJ's up on Deer Valley for quick Greek gyros.Food: 1/5 View all feedback.
What a delightful surprise to discover a Gyros restaurant! Since Good Fellas closed down at 19th Ave and Greenway, I had been on the hunt for some delicious Gyros. They did not disappoint! The food is incredibly tasty. The waitress was also very kind and friendly. Rating: 5/5 for the food!
I haven't visited in a few years, and I noticed that prices have increased a bit, but the gyros are still incredibly delicious! I really wish they would bring back the red pepper hummus. Food: 5/5
The gyro was hearty and satisfying, with the meat being particularly flavorful. However, the Tzatziki sauce could benefit from a bit more seasoning. I will certainly return for another meal.
Food is always excellent and I have about 15 years of experiences to go off of here. Atmosphere could use some work, but the main reason anyone comes is for the food. My go to is chicken gyro. Its never dry and theyre one of the very few places that actually make chicken GYRO meat. Not grilled chicken, not diced chicken breast but actual gyro meat thats shaved off of a spit like traditional gyro meat. I cannot have the traditional meat or I would, so being able to have a close second with chicken is amazing. They also have some of the BEST tatziki sauce compared to other places. Theirs is made with actual greek yogurt and has a very light and refreshing taste. I also love their giant greek salads. If you love gyros, you'll appreciate this place.Vegetarian options: Falafel, hummus, salads
Amazing its literally a mile away from me and it has taken me years to finally show up. I’m going to apologize to myself for not showing up sooner. Awesome food!!
