Highly recommended for lovers of authentic Lebanese cuisine.
We recently had a fantastic dining experience at Cedars with friends. We decided to try the Mezze tasting menu, and we were blown away by the quality of every dish that came out. The service was excellent, and we loved the fact that it's a BYOB restaurant. We will definitely be returning to Cedars, whether it's for a romantic evening for two or another dinner with friends.
After perusing the wide variety of options on the menu, we decided to go with the tasting menu, which included a fantastic assortment of dishes. Each dish was generously portioned and incredibly tasty. One suggestion would be to request that they bring out the dishes at a more measured pace. The service was quite attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Cedars was a very pleasant surprise on my trip to Philly. It was very authentic lebanese food as if made by my family, no shortcuts were taken as you could taste the quality ingredients and proper prep time to make the dishes. On top of this it was extremely reasonable as i got more food then i could finish (never happens) given I ordered a ton lol. This was incredibly legit food and I'm thinking of heading back to philly just to eat there again!
We loved the foul moudamuss, roast chicken, shish kebab combo, and baklava at this restaurant. Remember, you can bring your own alcohol (but the mint tea is excellent). The service was friendly and fast. We will definitely be coming back here regularly.
