Description

The restaurant, known as PERC, received mixed reviews from customers. One diner was disappointed by the slow service, cold food, uncomfortable seating, and lack of cleanliness. Another patron praised the pulled pork bayou rolls and indulgent drinks, wishing for their return to the menu. The cozy atmosphere and well-made mocha were highlighted by another visitor. On the positive side, the cafe was lauded for its good coffee, friendly staff, and efficient service. Some customers found it to be a great value for breakfast and enjoyed the tasty dishes offered. Overall, PERC seems to have a loyal following despite some areas needing improvement.

The coupon from the Kings Perth Hotel is not clear that the coffee voucher entitles you to a discount not a free coffee. Coffee is average as is most coffee served in Perth

Perc offers good coffee and selection of eats. Staff very amiable and efficient even when over run. Unfortunately associated with the Kings Perth Hotel so residents tend to avoid.

After reading the reviews I expected this place to be decent. Alas it was not to be. I should have realised from the moment I queued up to be served. The lady behind the counter appeared to be the only one working and left three times during taking my order to serve other people (take out food, put food under toaster and discuss cutlery with another patron). The express brekkie lived up to its name as it came out reasonably quickly however it was cold. It hadn't just been cooked and from the temperature I think had been sitting out for a while. This went for the bacon, toast, egg, tomato and even the sausage which only on the inside had some vague memory of warmth. The surroundings (which are not generally a consideration of mine) were uncomfortable (hard wooden seating) and I'm guessing due to being short staffed were not clean (dirty dishes and food scraps). All in all it did not even meet my expectations for a cheap breakfast.
