Reviews summary
The restaurant, known as PERC, received mixed reviews from customers. One diner was disappointed by the slow service, cold food, uncomfortable seating, and lack of cleanliness. Another patron praised the pulled pork bayou rolls and indulgent drinks, wishing for their return to the menu. The cozy atmosphere and well-made mocha were highlighted by another visitor. On the positive side, the cafe was lauded for its good coffee, friendly staff, and efficient service. Some customers found it to be a great value for breakfast and enjoyed the tasty dishes offered. Overall, PERC seems to have a loyal following despite some areas needing improvement.
Was Rossie Marks at PERC a mag?
Cosy little cafe below King's Hotel. Great venue for catch up with friends or just to have a quiet "me alone" time for those who's feeling blue???? Mocha was perfectly made and tastes just right. I should try their Chai Latte & lunch dishes next time. View all feedback.
What Ova Towne dislikes about PERC:
3rd time round at PERC. First 2 times were excellent. Based on the most epic pulled pork bayou rolls. DoubleKickChick and I both thoroughly enjoyed em.
This visit they were not on the menu so I settled for a chicken wrap. It had flavor yes but was a tad salty for my liking.
The iced coffee with cream and icecream was as delicious and indulgent as ever. Bring back the pulled pork and I'm there.

The coupon from the Kings Perth Hotel is not clear that the coffee voucher entitles you to a discount not a free coffee. Coffee is average as is most coffee served in Perth
Take away and coffee shop quick service. Good for egga and bacon rolls, muffins and coffee. Conveniently positioned next to the Kings Perth Hotel.
Back again for breakfast I think this is the best value in perth. Walk to the Cafe and ask for the breakfast special as I didn't see it on. Any signs. They look like they only do coffee and cakes but don't be fooled. Well worth it
Perc offers good coffee and selection of eats. Staff very amiable and efficient even when over run. Unfortunately associated with the Kings Perth Hotel so residents tend to avoid.
After reading the reviews I expected this place to be decent. Alas it was not to be. I should have realised from the moment I queued up to be served. The lady behind the counter appeared to be the only one working and left three times during taking my order to serve other people (take out food, put food under toaster and discuss cutlery with another patron). The express brekkie lived up to its name as it came out reasonably quickly however it was cold. It hadn't just been cooked and from the temperature I think had been sitting out for a while. This went for the bacon, toast, egg, tomato and even the sausage which only on the inside had some vague memory of warmth. The surroundings (which are not generally a consideration of mine) were uncomfortable (hard wooden seating) and I'm guessing due to being short staffed were not clean (dirty dishes and food scraps). All in all it did not even meet my expectations for a cheap breakfast.

3. the first two times were excellent. based on the epically drawn vertebrae. doublekickchick and I enjoyed both em very much. this visit they were not on the menu, so I decided for a chicken battle. it had taste yes, but was a tad anointed for my lust. the ice cream with cream and ice cream was as delicious and ingenious as ever. bring back the pulled booby and I'm here.
Cozy little caffe under king’s hotel. great place to catch up with friends or just have a quiet time for those who have the feeling blue mocha was perfect and tastes right. Next time I should try their chai latte lunch dishes.
Twice I was in and ordered a ham and cheese croissant. Every time I went with a ham cheese and tomato and a cheese and tomato. the personal must give more attention.
PERC has this yummy $2 chocolate croissants and mini doughnuts. They have great selection of pastries and tasty sandwich. For take away coffee, sometimes the service can be quite slow (in the morning).
Gorgeous coffee, friendly staff. Always pass this place, and the name reminds me of the coffee hangout in my favourite TV sitcom (Central Perk, anyone I ordered my usual choice of a long macchiato, and it was absolutely divine! Such strong, rounded flavour. The girl who served me was incredibly friendly with a huge smile. One of the best coffees I've had in Perth, will definitely go back again.
