Disappointing. Purchased a ham, cheese tomato toastie at $5.50. Got back to the office and opened it up and they had used the crust to make the sandwich with. When I'm paying $5.50 for a toastie, I don't expect them to use the crust. read moreOverall, the restaurant at Allendale Square offers a mixed experience. Some customers have been disappointed by the quality of the food, such as using crust for sandwiches or fatty bacon in breakfast items. However, others have had positive interactions with staff, enjoying engaging conversations, loyalty card offers, and personalized coffee orders. The location is convenient for bus commuters and has a fun evening atmosphere for after-work drinks. The food and drinks are described as consistently good, with toasted tortillas and arancini balls being popular choices. Despite some shortcomings, the restaurant seems to have potential to attract repeat customers with its variety of cuisines, friendly service, and fast coffee service provided by an expert barista named Mario.
