I was happy with this place! Our server was great, we went to everything you can eat catfish and shrimp night. We didn't have to wait long for our refills. Langston Rd, and you will see the sign for the Carriage House Restuarant and that will. Ring in the parking lot. S. Langston Rd will not take you to the parking lot.
The Carriage House is a really great place to dive. The food was excellent, the service devine and I'm not kidding. I don't make 5 stars, but I honestly didn't experience anything negative. They were 20 in the party where I was, and we all agreed that this was an excellent place for a meal. The server was a leak. In the short 90 minutes or so she won us all. There were some mix on the service, but that came from the kitchen and with the servers we help that without a hitch. The physical location is about 25 minutes south of Macon at a intersection called Henderson. The restaurant itself is a renovated 19th or early 20th house. Century. You can sit in one of the old rooms, but I really enjoyed the back open area that I would glazed like a BIG in veranda. I urge reservations, but it is not necessary. They are only open 3 or 4 days a week. The results will be worth the logistical efforts.
The manager, Ryan Taylor, was great, courteous, helpful. He ensured that the tables are regularly checked to ensure everyone was good. They had a party of fifty, but he made sure everyone took care. They really hate closing! Or closed now
Very beautiful place! Good food and good service! Good place to socialize, but still private places to have quiet conversations.
Absolutely fantastic all the way around. Great food and service. Gulf grilled shrimp are top notch
