Love this restaurant. Outstanding food, excellent service (thanks Caroline), great atmosphere and easy parking. Definitely five stars!
The food was good. It had a very southern flavor palette, and the meatloaf was unexpectedly delicious. The glaze they put on it was very tasy. The fried chicken was good but could use a little less oil when you bite into the crust. Everything else was tasty. We had prompt service, and our server was very kind, helpful, respectful, and offered great food choices. We would definitely go back, and I'd recommend the meatloaf to anyone. It was also a very charming place with an old southern feel.
The restaurant offers an extensive gluten-free menu, and the food was exceptional. Our group of five thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Our server, Kim, was fantastic, providing excellent service. The restaurant was impeccably clean. It features white tablecloths but maintains a relaxed ambiance.
Loved the ambience of this restaurant, the wait staff were busy but they made sure to address our needs and take care of us. Everything we tried was truly amazing Southern flare and taste. The bread pudding is to die for. I will go back and check themout again.
Stopped in on our travels through Georgia. We were there late afternoon and they were not busy. Definitely cute, old house turned into a nice restaurant feel. White linen tablecloths, with white linen napkins. We were very casually dressed, as we weretraveling and there seemed to be others dressed similar and others dressed nicely. Staff was friendly and efficient. Menu hadlots of Southern style options with average prices. We had the Fried Green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were tasty , servedwith honey mustard sauce. The sauce was ok, but I prefer ranch, Which was delicious. We tried the meatloaf with mashed potatoesand gravy. It was very filling and definitely had a grandma made feel to it, very good, gravy was excellent and the cabbage wasjust cabbage. We also tried the Southern Fried Sampler, it came with a piece of corn meal battered catfish which was amazing, breaded shrimp, also amazing a salmon croquette (this I was not super fond of, a bit too fishy for me) the homemade Remouladewas delicious and the squash casserole was delicious, trust me it tasted so much better than it looked! We definitely leftstuffed and would totally go out of our way to try it again! Ladies restroom was immaculate and super cute, pics below!
