We had a great dinner in Meximieux-Perouges at Le Menestrel. The wood-fired BBQ was the centrepiece of the room. The waitress was really helpful with French words we didn't know and the meal was tasty, with a good selection of veggies with the main BBQ choice. Their selection of meats was good. And I had a swordfish, which filled the bill. They had a reasonable wine selection and good prices. View all feedback.

Resto accolle a l'hotel la berangere , mais independant Repas simple mais correct , serveur tres avenant , tres pratique si vous etes a l'hotel, Car vous ne devez pas prendre la voiture Repasserons a l'occasion View all feedback.
We were staying at the hotel next door and enjoyed dinner here. The interior is cosy with a wood burning grill, popular with locals. Service was friendly and my seafood ravioli excellent. A good alternative to eating in old Perouges!

Le Menestrel has a good choice of grill dishes that are prepared in the restaurant itself. The atmosphere is nice and service was friendly.
