Service was friendly and my seafood ravioli excellent. A good alternative to eating in old Perouges!

The waitress was really helpful with French wor... read more We had a great dinner in Meximieux-Perouges at Le Menestrel. The wood-fired BBQ was the centrepiece of the room. The waitress was really helpful with French words we didn't know and the meal was tasty, with a good selection of veggies with the main BBQ choice. Their selection of meats was good. And I had a swordfish, which filled the bill. They had a reasonable wine selection and good prices.
