Description

Sainsbury’s cafe has garnered mixed reviews, with patrons noting a decline in food quality and service. Some diners lament the absence of fresh cooked meals, citing disappointing sandwiches and terrible coffee. Long wait times and insufficient staff management during busy periods have frustrated many. However, the cafe still enjoys a loyal following among regulars who appreciate its cleanliness and helpful staff, as well as decent offerings like toasted currant teacakes and fish and chips. Very badly organised people waiting for ages . Only one person serving doing both orders and drinks while the other staff wandering about . This cafe needs people behind the counter at busy times.

I visited the cafe in the shop yesterday and it was absolutely awful! Nothing is made fresh, there are no cooked meals, only sandwiches that have to be heated up.

Don't bother coming here. The menu only offers mediocre hot sandwiches. My granddaughter's ham sandwich was subpar and the coffee was terrible. I wouldn't even give this place a star if I could.

Great café! It seems someone might have seen a photo of a cold bacon sandwich and decided to spread misinformation. As a former employee of this café, I can confirm that it’s not true—we only used teacakes for our sandwiches and sliced bread for toast. That type of item would never have been served here. Please ignore those who have too much time on their hands; the staff at this café are exceptional and dedicated to their work.

Very basic tasteless food and very slow service. Give it a try every few weeks then wonder why I’ve come back. So many good places in Colne much better than this!
