Description

Once a beacon of quality and service, this café now struggles under disorganization and staff shortages, evident even on quieter days. Patrons face long waits for food, missing cutlery, and limited beverage options due to malfunctioning machines. Dish quality has suffered dramatically, with meals arriving cold and unappetizing. While some staff maintain friendly attitudes amid the chaos, the overall experience falls short of expectations. As prices rise and standards plummet, loyal customers are left wondering if the café can regain its former charm or if it has lost its way for good.

They can't even make toast these days. The restaurant used to be great and always had a line. Now it's empty at lunchtime. Cutting staff seems like a false economy.

Standards have fallen significantly at this cafe, it used to be well run and have ample staff to hand, it seems to be run in a shoestring with invisible staff prices are no longer the bargain they were £2.50 for a small slice of cheesecake (the same cheesecake sold in store at around a fiver) two self serve coffee machines of which only one works at a time AND has a limited choice of beverage because there’s no chocolate in the machine. The coffee machines themselves are dirty with coffee and powdered chocolate residue some of which is Congealed in the folds and crevices of the machine. It is badly run but the staff (when you can find one) are generally friendly and polite. I’m giving one star but only because I can’t leave zero stars.

Called in the cafe for some breakfast before shopping and what a bad decision that turned out to be. Wife is gluten free so practically zero selections for her to start with them decided to get a full English for me, she settled for egg chips and beans. Bacon, overcooked and cold, could have made shoes from it! Egg, greasy and rock hard yolk. Most of the rest was greasy and cold the only warm thing on the plate were the beans. If they had flavour they would have been ok. It's such a shame that Morrisons clearly won't pay for a proper chef but prefer to put out low quality slop. Won't be eating here again for certain if they're going to sacrifice so much for their profits!!!

The staff at this Morrisons are outstanding and are always willing to help you.

I really wouldn't eat here, especially considering the kitchen staff's poor hygiene. I also didn't realize you could work with food if your employer isn't aware that you have HIV.
