Me and the missus came to the Barley Mow for a night away last week and were absolutely blown away. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were greeted and shown to our room by Toby and then catered to by manager Will later that evening. The somewhat eccentric but extremely friendly bar man completely made the stay for us. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and fantastic view from the window. Our evening meal was exceptional, good quality food and good portion sizes (especially for the price! . Some of the chefs even took the time to speak to us about their menu, after their shift, which added to our experience. The Barley Mow is a great little country pub with great rooms, great scenery, great food and incredible service. We will be back!
Amazing service, great food and great value for money. I had a lamb flatbread and a bolt maker, thoroughly enjoyed it I will certainly be back again soon
During our short break in a nearby village, we decided to check out the Barley Mow. The staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. My family and I were impressed with the prompt service and delicious starters and mains we ordered. If you're in search of a cozy village pub with a fantastic atmosphere and tasty food, I definitely suggest paying a visit to the Barley Mow.
After an extremely rainy Sunday we cut our Pendle walk short, we had booked in for 3pm here but arrived 1 hour early, by the time we had gotten a refreshing pint of lager at the bar the lovely manager sorted us out a table nice and early! The food, the ambience, the service, it was all to die for, this place never fails to amaze us.
