A masterpiece of construction and urban construction makes Cardiff Barrage a fantastic walk, from Mermaid Quay to Penarth, a distance of about one mile and one half. The sea air is really lively, the footpath is well maintained and also has a separate cycle track. There is a wide range of cafés and toilets.
