A masterpiece of construction and urban construction makes Cardiff Barrage a fantastic walk, from Mermaid Quay to Penarth, a distance of about one mile and one half. The sea air is really lively, the footpath is well maintained and also has a separate cycle track. There is a wide range of cafés and toilets. Beautiful walk from the city centre through the Bay Area and around Penarth. Very quiet and relaxing
Fantastic walk and part of a great cycle loop. We cycled around the whole bay on the Ovo bikes and spent a while admiring the view and technology. We’ll worth a visit.
Went here yesterday on my bike its great to cycle over to Cardiff bay area, stayed for the sunset

It is a very refreshing walk through in Cardiff with plenty of fresh air. The views are nice as well. It is not only water on both sides. There are lots of other activities going on. Specially the exercise place provided by adidas is so good. One of the best place in Cardiff to walk or sit down.
