From the moment we arrived we were met with in... read more We had an outstanding 8 course taster menu with added white truffle (delicious) and cheeseboard (lots of choice). From the moment we arrived we were met with incredibly efficient service and a super quiet yet comfortable atmosphere. The dishes were served at perfect temperatures with neither delay nor haste. The hot mushroom 'tea ' to start was very tasty and every plate afterwards delivered new flavours, textures and surprises. We thoroughly enjoyed every one. The wine menu is extensive with plenty of alternatives and we were even treated to sample a new cocktail..name to be confirmed... We appreciated the attention to detail and the personal way in which our food was cooked, served and explained by the small number of staff, including the chefs. The family connections only added to the personable experience and there was plenty of food. My partner even proposed between the cheese board and the first dessert. I had to agree if only to make sure we had another chance to go back for our anniversary! Thank you all at Home for an unforgettable evening. It w... read more We were very lucky to find a spot for two here. Home is Home, literally. The hidden spot of Penarth but famous at the same time, exceeded our expectations. It was a fantastic experience. They thought about the experience with the restaurant itself and for the food. James and Georgia, cooked for us and it was just perfection. We felt at home all the time. The atmosphere is great, the selection of food highlights the passion that this family puts into this job. 8 courses, 8 piece of arts, full of flavours and top tiers ingredients.
