If you're from Arizona, you know the drill: great food at a reasonable price. It might take a while because everything is made fresh, but that doesn't bother me at all.
I ordered two shredded beef burros. They were inedible. I could not tell what kind of meat that was in them. It looked like rare pork. There was so much liquid in them they were a soggy mess. I threw them out and will never go back.
I visited the drive-thru and ordered a chorizo egg and cheese burrito, requesting easy chorizo. I thought the price was a bit steep for just a burrito. When I got to the window, they charged me an additional $1.70 for corn, which I didn't ask for. Then the girl said that charge was for extra cheese. Umm, okay... but I didn't order extra cheese. When I finally took a bite of my burrito, I found absolutely ZERO cheese in it. I'm heading back to complain. I really hope they're not intentionally overcharging people. This is why I always ask for a receipt.
Food was on point hot and fresh. We like to go mid week and take advantage of the daily specials. I would not reccomend the kids nuggets but then again we shouldn't be ordering nuggets from Bertos! Enjoy!
