Crosswinds Grille - Payson
Crosswinds Grille
Description
Perched at Payson’s small airport, Crosswinds serves generous, homey breakfasts, standout take-home pies and scenic plane-spotting views. Locals praise friendly staff, fair prices and all-day breakfast, plus camping and runway-adjacent amenities. However, service can be inconsistent—especially with large parties—and occasional cleanliness and customer-service lapses are reported. Overall it’s a beloved hometown spot with comforting food and a strong casual atmosphere for pie lovers, aviation enthusiasts and travelers, but expect variability during busy times.

This is such a cute place to see airplanes. The staff was ok. They were nice, but just left me sitting there and didn't tell me how to pay. Then laughed because after sitting there, I finally figured it out. Would have been polite to let me know. The chicken was hard and dry, but overall, an okay salad.
