My partner and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Benguela Blue on a Monday morning, our day off. The Meermijn Banting Breakfast was outstanding, with bacon, sausage, eggs, avocado, tomato, and a broccoli and sweet potato patty. We paired it with Robertson Winery Brut Sparkling Wine. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant offers a stunning view of Paternoster Bay, situated between the At Botha Art Gallery and the renowned Paternoster Wine Tasting Lounge.
We were tourists visiting Paternoster for the first time and happened to come across this restaurant. The host, Lorraine, was extremely welcoming and kept the restaurant open for us to enjoy our meal. The atmosphere was casual yet charming, with country music playing in the background. As expected for a coastal town, the menu mainly consisted of seafood. We ordered the king prawns and I tried the mussel pot, both of which were delicious. Overall, we left feeling very satisfied and happy with our dining experience.
Beautiful views, delicious food, and a great selection of cocktails and wines. The manager's attentive service guarantees a wonderful dining experience. This restaurant is a fantastic destination any time of day, but especially magical in the afternoons and at sunset.
We had an amazing time here. The owner and waiter were super welcoming, and even provided a black board for my sick 3 yo son to draw on. The food was great and the service excellent.
As first time visitor the first impression was a nice, clean area. Lovely views. Friendly staff. Food presented well. Chicken and Prawn Curry was very tasty. Sadly the Yellowtail was a tad dry and the Eisbein portion more bone than meat. I would however give it another visit and /or recommend it.
