Seekombuis - Paternoster
Seekombuis
Description
Perched on the beach with sweeping West Coast views, this beloved Paternoster seafood spot is celebrated for fresh prawns, fish dishes and notably excellent chips, plus lively, festive seaside dining and events. Friendly, authentic service and memorable plates contrast with uneven experiences: occasional slow or chaotic kitchen service, inconsistent food quality, rising prices and reported cleanliness issues. Ideal for seafood lovers seeking atmosphere and views, but visitors should be prepared for variability in timing, value and service.

This restaurant is a hidden gem located on the Cape Columbine peninsula. It's a charming little spot with a unique atmosphere. We ordered the seafood platter for two, which included two crayfish and the most delicious king prawns we've ever had. The chips were also outstanding – quite possibly the best we've tasted in all of South Africa. If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, this is the place to go. — Nick Hill, UK Price per person: R 350–400
