Was Katrina V at Hacklberger Bräustüberl a mag?
My German friend who I was visiting took me here to experience traditional Bavarian food. We didn't make reservations and this place was packed for the holidays. Lucky to have gotten seated as there were 5 of us but the staff opened up a table. Happy to have experienced the restaurant accommodating considering how busy they were! Food: huge portions!! Food was amazing. Plus i enjoyed the beer! I wish I had room to en... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Hacklberger Bräustüberl:
The food was average; some of it looked like it had been bought in from elsewhere. Unfortunately, it was very salty. And in our poor Germany, a small bottle of tap water costs €1.20. Sadly, I won't be returning and this will probably be my only visit. I wouldn't recommend it. The service, however, was friendly and quick. View all feedback.

I'm already a couple of times to eat and drink here. in general it is a good place to take guests. it is from the beaten tourist away in the hacklberg neighbourhood, but it is from some city bus lines that run regularly throughout the day...and menus are available in English. (if they don't speak German, though, this place will get a great pain, although the bus will drop them off and catch them literally before the brewery and this restaurant. the restaurant was rebuilt a few years ago, so it looks Bavarian chic. The food prices are about €9 15 for main courses; beer are in the range €3 4 for half a liter. many Bavarian foods require a longer time ago (soaked meat, etc. anyway, so that the kitchen before one is started with it and eating makes it in the usually quite fast on their table. there are three or four savory vegetarian dishes, but nothing vegan if I remember correctly. (that is still a victorious many really traditional places have, say, reispudding as the vegetarian option. are decent; in the rule is the small order of roast pork enough for me, and last time I was there, the guy friend I wasn't finished with. bier wise, I have never been impressed by the flagship hacklberg bright beer and native have complained about uneven quality in recent years. their delicate and dark are however quite delicious and available in this restaurant. the last time that I was there, the drinks menu also listed flights of beer and mentioned the possibility to order a keg for them themselves (with advance notice.) the other reason why I would give this place four stars instead of five is that the restaurant hacklbergs partner brewery innstadt completely ignored, which is also brewed over the street. I think innstadt tastes better, and it also means that the visitors miss the chance to try chabeso, the ur sprite innstadt is one of two breweries still licensed in Germany to make chabeso and it also makes a darn fine radler or russ. at the moment have innstadt and passaus other great brewery löwenbrau (andorfer is so small, does only whiteberry beer and is even more difficult to use the public transport means, so I do not include it as an option for most visitors.

The food was good and plentiful, and the service was very friendly. The beer was also delicious.
