The service was very... read more We had reserved a table for three people three weeks in advance, only to end up alone in a remote corner of an annex – simply unacceptable. The service was very helpful and friendly, but the rude and arrogant owner refused to seat the three of us at a table for four in the main area. The food was very good, but the portions were far too small for the relatively high price. After the (highly recommended) cabaret show with Sigi Zimmerschied in the same building, we stayed for a drink, but the cocktails weren't particularly good. We're giving the stars for the very friendly service. If the owner were different, or if his poor organization and the food were more in line with the price, we would gladly eat there again. However, we will certainly be happy to return to Sigi Zimmerschied's cabaret show.

Even w... read more Yesterday, I had dinner with my wife at ScharfrichterHaus in Passau. As always, it was a culinary delight, with a great atmosphere and excellent service. Even when I was at school more than 40 years ago, I loved going to the ScharfrichterHaus. I'd especially like to recommend the Bohemian-Bavarian classic, Svickova, on the menu. The only culinary shortcoming is that there is no Bavarian beer.
