The restaurant owner Jerome Desvouges is a perfect host running a high quality establishment. We had a three course meal on an ever diminishing blackboard (not a criticism it added to the...charm of the place and proved it’s popularity and how real it is). The recommendation for the wine was perfect. This is a charming community restaurant. Many of the diners appeared to be local. If you want a fantastic simple yet perfect dining experience close to the Jardin des Plantes go to Desvouges.

Desert was great, too creme brul... read more We dined twice at desvouges, and all dishes that we tasted were perfect: escargot, pig cheeks, burrata, Tulusian sausage, lamb. Desert was great, too creme brulee . Wines we used Pino Noir from Burgogne and Alsace ! and Cote d' Roussillion reds, Chablis for blanc... after the advice of the owner, Mr. Jerome Desvouge were matching food perfectly. He atmosphere he creates is so warm and amicable, so relaxing and it makes dinner there also a visit to a friend!
