Nous avons bien apprécié la carte qui donne envie de tout goûter et ce que nous avons pris .... une tuerie !!!!

Un accueil chaleureux et convivial, à l'image des assiettes, simples et savoureuses.

The chef comes out and explains the offerings of the day chalked up on the blackboard. I had a plate of charcuterie (good), an onglet de bouef (very good), and chocolat dish which was mi-cuit (excellent). We ordered a Bourgogne to drink. I was with three French people and we enjoyed a rather laid back evening. It is possible to have a very good three course meal for Euro 34 here (just the food), and this was a refreshing change from many of the usual tourist traps.

Nous... read more Nous avons dîné avec notre fille pour ses 20 ans. Nous avons été accueillis de façon sympathique. Le menu nous a été détaillé. Le choix n'a pas été facile. Nous nous sommes décidés pour des entrées (croustillant de saison chèvre miel et menthe, sabaudet aux oignons rouges) et des plats (risotto gambas, tartare thaï, jours de porc rôties au sésame et sauce soja) tout étant très bon.

Many/most guests are repeat, local customers, and come back (as I do) for the food, the place and for the larger than life owner.
