Owners were very welco... read more After getting the shuttle bus up to the waterfall from the village , we enjoyed a delicious lunch here as part of a guided walking tour . Owners were very welcoming and spoke good English . Menu was excellent and very varied with wonderful regional specialities all home cooked . Family run restaurant with lovely old photographs in the dining room tracing the history of the farm . A gem !

The location of this restaurant is fantastic, right between two waterfalls each worth a visit. This does mean the place gets packed with walkers at meal times. It's claim to fame is fresh trout, which was pretty good, but did not go with a dry Bratkartoffeln. The main problem was it simply took too long, 60 minutes to cook a trout, and 90 minutes in total for a one course lunch forced us to change plans for the whole afternoon. There was also a mix up with the kids' meals, with only two of the ordered three arriving. Once we were able to get the attention of the staff, a third was produced, but only after the to be expected arguments between the three kids. To the restaurant's credit, they did not charge for the delayed third meal.

The Kaiserschmarrn was absolutely fantastic! The other dishes also looked great and seem to be really good.
