My host, Salvatore,... read more I stumbled upon Talè looking for somewhere with good WiFi/beer/wine to spend a few hours before boarding the ferry to Genoa. So glad I did. My host, Salvatore, was very welcoming and quickly sorted out both the wifi and an appropriate beverage. We soon got chatting and he was excellent company, speaking much better English than the 5 Italian words I know. It ticked all the boxes for me exactly what I was looking for and possibly the best free WiFi in Sicily. If you're in Palermo pop in and say hello and maybe stay for a coffee, beer, a wine or something to eat.

No English speaking service, so had a... read more We just had cappuccino And orange cake, so can't speak to the larger menu, but both these items were good, well prepared. No English speaking service, so had a bit of a hard time trying to ask what type of desserts they had, but eventually I came up with a word that worked and orange cake was the answer. Can't say I would have selected this had it been among menu options, but it was fresh, moist and tasty. It's not particularly aesthetically appealing as it faces a square that has become a parking lot and the nearby construction was a bit assaulting, but can't blame progress on these folks.
