Served by surly waitress and then charged 8 euros with no i... read more Called in for a small beer and small glass of wine, as we have done in many good bars over the week. Served by surly waitress and then charged 8 euros with no itemised bill. Experience of other bars has been 4/5 euros. Feels like they have spotted the tourist and upped the bill. First only disappointment of the stay. Avoid!

Ta... read more As my BnB is at the next piazza, i ho here every morning for breakfast. it’s an excellent place too for work, at this very moment i sit working on my laptop. Tale has an amazing lemon cake with some frosting on top, and the coffee is good. defo good for breakfast or a pit stop. In love with Palermo btw. Similar to naples but way wayyyyy more clean and less chaotic.

The espresso is really good (among the best we had in Palermo) and the sweets selection for breakfast nicely diverse (and cheap). Really good place.

I stumbled upon Talè looking for somewhere with good WiFi/beer/wine to spend a few hours before boarding the ferry to Genoa. So glad I did. My host, Salvatore,... read more I stumbled upon Talè looking for somewhere with good WiFi/beer/wine to spend a few hours before boarding the ferry to Genoa. So glad I did. My host, Salvatore, was very welcoming and quickly sorted out both the wifi and an appropriate beverage. We soon got chatting and he was excellent company, speaking much better English than the 5 Italian words I know. It ticked all the boxes for me exactly what I was looking for and possibly the best free WiFi in Sicily. If you're in Palermo pop in and say hello and maybe stay for a coffee, beer, a wine or something to eat.
