I really like the lightly breaded fish and shrimp. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Fast service. When we arrived it was not really busy but as we were leaving it really started to pick up so go early!! Service: Dine in

The f... read more Just went again for the first time in years and I was quite impressed. I love seeing all the painted murals and decorations, it's so unique and beautiful. The food and service was great as well. The catfish fillet and fried shrimp was delicious. The catfish was very juicy and tender and the shrimp was slightly overdone but still pretty tasty. Coming from someone who isn't a big fan of fries anywhere, theirs are so so good. It was slightly busy tonight but we had no wait to get seated and the food came out very quickly. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and checked on us frequently. The prices are higher than they used to be but thats to be expected anywhere nowadays with the cost of food being so high so it's understandable. I left very happy and full regardless I really hope people will continue supporting this local business so it can stay open, Pacolet wouldn't be the same without Lighthouse. It's a great family restaurant for people of all ages!

From the time you ge... read more I would have to say that having dined at many restaurants that claim to be fish camps I can say that the Lighthouse Fish Camp is just that. From the time you get out of your vehicle you can see that you are entering a place you'll want to remember how to come back. The decorations are great, you have everything from Disney characters to watertight doors off ships . You have swordfish, a whiteshark. Now for the reason for this review, the Fish is prepared just the way you'd want it to be. My wife an I both got a platter because she can have some types of Fish and not others so we share. I like whole catfish,shrimp,oysters, scallops. She can't have oysters or catfish so I give her my scallops for her oysters. She'll get flounder instead of catfish. I'd have to give the LIGHTHOUSE a FIVE STAR for everything. The owner did exactly what I had heard that he did. He walks through an asks if you got enough an if everything was OK. Other than my wife being cold there were no complaints and he said he could help with her being cold. He cut the fan over our table off an then he gave her a warm hug. Thats good customer service!!
