As newlyweds, we had a wonderful lunch at Miko, celebrating both our marriage and my wife's birthday. We were treated to excellent food and service, all while enjoying an incredible view. We will certainly return! Service: 5 Location: 5
The dining experience was disappointing. For the exorbitant prices, it should be par excellence... sadly it was subpar. Vegetables were stodge, colour cooked out of them. Crispy fries.. weren't, the jus on the fillet was sparse, meat was pink. The gazpacho taster was a nice touch. Stunning location and views. Service: 4 Location: 5
We had the tasting menu with wine pairing here and it was excellent. We started off with sundowners on the patio before moving to the restaurant for dinner. The service from Philiswa was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. The setting was simply stunning. Highly recommend, we will come back! The restaurant has a fantastic location, 2 burgers salad first class, Sauvignon very good Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Quiet
We had a mixed experience at the restaurant. The dinner on New Year's Eve was quite expensive, and while the location was beautiful, there were some nice touches, such as a printed photo of our group wrapped as a gift by the time we arrived at our table. However, the food and service were just average and didn't justify the high price we paid (with a gratuity of 2580 rand). What really bothered us was the stinginess regarding the sparkling wine at the reception before the meal. They only allowed one glass per person, and charged for any additional servings. We weren't looking to drink excessively, but given the price we paid, this felt exceptionally mean-spirited, and we wouldn’t consider returning for that reason. We've been loyal customers over the years, but this year felt different – it seems they are more focused on making money than on customer satisfaction.
