A group of 13 made a reservation for between 10:00 and 10:15 AM. We arrived at 9:40 AM and wanted to wait outside on the lawn until opening time. However, Melissa refused to open the gates, stating that the staff were having their coffee. She suggested we go somewhere else and then hung up the phone. Fantastic food and service. I dream sometimes about their food. Unfortunately quiet a drive from my house but every few months a must visit.
Located on DuToits Pass on the Paarl side, this stunning venue beautifully combines art and dining. We stumbled upon it while heading to lunch elsewhere and decided to sample only their coffee and apfelstrudel, which was deliciously filled with ice cream and soaked in chocolate and nuts. The service was quick, and the authentic Austrian flavors and quality were impressive. We will definitely return to explore more of their offerings. The interior is adorned with art, and the breathtaking views outside make it a true gem worth visiting.
