We had lunch at Haute Cabrière and it was absolutely beautiful. First we stopped there to some Pastel De Nata and Pan Chocolate in the bakery (both were absolutely delicious, just like in France and Portugal), when we were lucky to hear that a table was free for lunch. The worst service of my 2 day Franschoek wine experience. Told to sit anywhere. Wine tasting room only half full. After 23min waiting got up to call somone... slip up from staff. All finally turned out well. Will have to visit again in future to give a proper review. View all feedback.

We had a nice time and left well fed and happy!
Stopped over for lunch and a tasting, fantastic service, best food we had for the week (flash fried calamari), old friend of their wines, so can ' 't fault them on that. Would have loved it if some of the history displayed on the wall was shared with us during the tasting.
We had a wine tasting with a plate of different meat cuts and cheese. Everything was excellent. We were very positively surprised with her brood!!! We had no lunch, but we plan on our next visit, as their lunch area looks very nice with beautiful views of Franschhoek
Loved the view from the restaurant. We dived there and the staff was very friendly. My highlight was the cozy fireplace and the wine tasting. Hust the most amazing seeds Laaf and rusk. Will certainly be back for a wine tasting.
Definitely drink in my top 10 wines in South Africa! They have very easy to drink, “light” wines, full-bodied. Haute Cabriere is on the more expensive side, but it was a real treat that made a tasting there! Your Red Wine Reserve and Rose is my favorite! Thank you for the good and unique experience!
