This might just be the best Nanaimo bar in Ottawa and, at last, a reliable café in Manotick. The orange almond cake is absolutely incredible—it has to be experienced to be believed (I can hardly believe it’s gluten-free and lactose-free). I recently ordered their Canadian Charcuterie platter for our wedding party. I had sent a couple of emails asking if there were nuts and if possible could we make this nut free. After about three weeks I decided to call and the lady on the other end was so rude and made me feel like I was dumb for asking. THE BEST COFFEE EVER. They serve Happy Goat Coffee which is why it is so amazing but their baked goods and catering menu are sure to please any eater. A definite must try.
I live in Manotick and it's a great place to get a delicious sweet bite and a hot coffee. Always really yummy fresh baked goods.
