My wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were held at the amazing Sidedoor Restaurant in the Byward market. Candace, their event coordinator, was incredibly organized, responding quickly and patiently to my numerous emails and questions. The food and drinks were outstanding, with our guests raving about the unique and delicious dinner options. The late-night Poutine buffet was a hit! The service was efficient and courteous, with everyone being served promptly. The private room was already beautiful, but they were accommodating when we brought in extra greenery and candles. We played our own music and the dance floor was full all night. Our wedding at Sidedoor was perfect, and we highly recommend them.

The Sidedoor not only offers exceptional food and a beautiful building, but they also have a phenomenal events coordinator, Candace, and her team of employees. We recently celebrated our wedding at the restaurant and it was an incredible experience. Our guests enjoyed it just as much as we did. I highly recommend the Sidedoor, not only for its amazing food, but also as the perfect venue for a wedding. Thank you for helping us host the most amazing wedding.

Always delicious . I dream of Bajan crispy fish tacos between every visit. The butter poached lobster curry was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The donuts make you feel gross in the best kind of 'can 't stop eating them ' way.

The food was great and the ambiance is amazing. In addition, the décor is superb! I got the Vietnamese Pancake and I loved it! I definitely recommend it.

Recommended by a good friend who lives in Ottawa. The service was great, the food was absolutely delicious. I had the lobster in a green curry with jasmine rice and had the Korean fried cauliflower to start. Would definitely go back again.
