Like Starbucks, it is now being challenged by many independents, in Ottawa, Toronto and elsewhere. It is reliable, and its specialty coffees and teas, including my favourite, Macha Latte, are usually good. Good muffins, wraps and other light eats, and friendly, efficient staff. The Rideau Centre Second Cup has no seating, but it is very close to a large seating area for an extensive food court.
