What Robin Steeden doesn't like about Prince Gourmet Shawarma:
Good food but I had to wait 15 minutes as I ordered the shish kabob plate. And when I got it home I found the kebabs were burnt. At least it was fresh tho, and excellent except for the blacked nits. I've never had food burnt at the Rideau location where Igo regularly. I have rated that location as 5 stars, Bank St. only gets 4 stars for now. View all feedback.
I came to this shawarma shop near city hall on Elgin looking for a quick meal, but a little healthier than Dunn's or the chain swill on the street.
Very charming servers! I went there on a cold wintery Sunday night looking for a take-away.I read previous reviews and decided to give it a shot.
Their chicken was very dry and bland and the garlic sauce was very mildA garlic sauce needs garlic! I would not recommend this location.

We took home almost another entire meal in take it left overs. Thehummus and garlic sauce were delicious and definitely had the taste of freshly homemade. Service was fast and friendly and thestaff were more than happy to take their time answering questions. Definitely find this restaurant when you are inOttawa!!! Enjoy your day my friend! ????????
