What NR CanBd doesn't like about Mezbaan:
We did not like their lamb shank lamb uzbeki that we found as bland and dry. The lamb meat itself was soft, juicy and was cooked well but the rice or the meal as a whole was not at all spicy and instead was very bland. Disappointing. The Afghanistan food at this restaurant is delicious and well-prepared, with large servings at a very reasonable price. The rice was exceptional - long grain, loose, and flavorful with tasty seasonings. The fresh naan bread was also delicious. The spinach dish was spicy with garlic and onion, cooked perfectly. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant soon. Thank you.
We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The food was not too spicy, so even my baby enjoyed it. However, I found the service to be a bit impersonal. I understand that the servers may have been tired, but that doesn't excuse serving with a serious expression. Overall, the food was excellent, receiving a 5 out of 5 rating.
On our second visit for dinner, the food and service were once again excellent. We also tried a milk pudding, which was given to us as a complimentary treat. We would rate the experience 10/10. In terms of kid-friendliness, we were there with a 10 and 13-year-old.
Amazing food and service even though they were full. We ordered mantu, shami kabob, half chicken tandoori and chicken chaplee. Everything had the right amount of flavor. Also ordered fries for kids, they were fresh and crispy. They use great quality rice. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
