Only been once, the service was alright, but nothing special, the patio is nice and as with all Kelsey's, the food is pretty good. Would probably go back, but wouldn't go out of my way to go to this location. View all feedback.

We walked in. The music was so loud, I asked to be put somewhere quiet. There was no place quiet between the music and all the loud voices. It seems the sounds echo around the room. So loud, I could not speak to my granddaughter. She asked to go outside. We had the traffic noise, but it was better. The only problem was the weather. It was too cold so we had to go back inside. I ordered chicken wings and they made them how I asked, and they were excellent. I also had a caesar salad which was a disappointment. Tasted like lettuce with mayo. My granddaughter had a kids meal - cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger had NOTHING on it. You would expect at least a tomato, pickle, something? It looked horrible and unappetizing, but she enjoyed it. I must say the staff was excellent and took excellent care of us.
We had fajitas for two for dinner, which was very good. The staff was friendly and we had good service. The atmosphere was great. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody. My brother and his wife had hamburgers, which they also liked very much.
I went to this Kelsey’s on St. Laurent Boulevard with my extended family in January 2017 for the last day of our Christmas family reunion and we were a total of 18 people. Choosing to go out to this restaurant must have been perhaps one of the biggest mistakes we ever did. The food was beyond disgusting, the taste clearly indicated that it was all just a bunch of reheated leftovers tossed into a microwave from the refrigerator (or maybe freezer). Not one of us liked his/her dish whatsoever, and we had ordered a wide range of items on the menu for our main courses, such as steak, hamburger, pizza, grilled sandwich, or pasta, and so on (for appetizers we had ordered some nachos and salad to share). I remember having the blandest steak with inedible mashed potatoes and vegetables on the side. In addition, the waitress serving us was truly unprofessional and rude and so was the manager. This obviously resulted in slow and poor service. My grandmother also ordered a steak like me and received one cooked in an entirely differently way from how she requested it and could not eat it. It took a lot of negotiating and arguing with the waitress and eventually manager before they finally agreed to take it back and bring one cooked correctly. This indicates not only a very low level of customer service, but also outright arrogance indicated by their refusal to recognize their mistake. Cleanliness was also a major problem at this restaurant especially in the bathrooms because my four cousins all went in to use them and returned looking very grossed out. We left appalled at the dinner we had just endured. In addition, despite going at a common time (early evening) for dinner, the restaurant was empty, and now I can certainly see why. I’m sure that the only way we could have enjoyed our dinner less is if we went to the nearest garbage dumpster and took our chances that there may be something edible in there. It’s also very surprising that we did not get food poisoning given how our food was “cooked”. I strongly recommend that unless an apocalypse occurs and this restaurant is the only place in Canada that retains a supply of food, don’t ever go here. Out of all the restaurants I have eaten at in Ottawa when I visit from Dubai every Christmas and summer, this is by far the worst one.
This restaurant is currently featuring $10 special items right now until June 12. The amount of food you get is incredible! The dessert and special drink menu also looks very creative! I'd love to come back to try their two-handed sangrias and milk bottle shakes!
