When we finally... read more We have been to Issac's twice now since it has opened at it's new location in the Kanata Centurm. The first time we went, the service was slow. When we finally got our drinks, my vodka-soda came with a very bad lime and every lime after that was the same. We both had steak and my boyfriend order his with fries and I got mine with there famous vegetables. Both our dishes came out with vegetables, and we pointed out that my boyfriend ordered fries with his, and a big bowl was brought out very quickly so that was good.As for the food, the steak isn't the greatest cut but I like mine cooked blue rare and it was so that was good. As for the vegetables, way too many and extremely under seasoned. I might have ate two out of the whole bunch. We went back again last night to give it one more try. The service was better, but the food was worse/the same. My vodka-soda came with lemon this time and I was thankfully for that because I noticed the persons drink beside me had a wedge of lime and it was very bad! My boyfriend got steak and fries and he said it was just ok, I got the veal with fries (i asked if i could get a side salad instead of fries or vegetables and the answer was no) The veal was covered in this sauce that was awful and with what tasted and looked like canned mushrooms! So gross! Since dinner was a disappointment we ordered dessert and that was even worse. The only really good thing about this place is there buns! very very tasty! Too bad because Kanata needs a good steak house.!
