Hing Lung Chinese Food - Ottawa

I attempted to place an online order at this restaurant, but the website indicated they were too busy and might forget the order. After receiving a text message stating the order failed to go through and instructing me to call the restaurant to place an order, I decided to order from another establishment. Approximately an hour later, I received an unpleasant phone call from Hing Lung, scolding me for not canceling the order if I had ordered elsewhere. He was extremely rude and dismissed my explanation regarding the website's message. It's concerning that the company's own website cannot be trusted. The customer service at this restaurant needs improvement.

The food is consistently hot and delicious, and the service is excellent. My order is always prepared promptly, and the owner is incredibly friendly and personable. This is my favorite spot for Chinese takeout!

Hing Lung is our new favorite spot for delicious Chinese food. After years without it, we chose Hing Lung for a special anniversary meal and have now made it our go-to place. The portions are generous, the food is clean and fresh, and the flavors are wonderful. We tried a variety of dishes including General Tso chicken, chicken chop suey, beef with broccoli, sweet and sour chicken balls, garlic spare ribs, chicken fried rice, and a dozen egg rolls. The egg rolls were especially delicious and we appreciated the extra ones provided by this family-run restaurant. Next time, we plan to try something new. The food is excellent and the delivery service is courteous and timely. We love Hing Lung and will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful meal! Vegetarian options are also available.

This is the best chinese food in ottawa. no one else comes close. it’s sofa king good. lady on the phone is amazing, so quick, patient, and accurate! delivery guy is incredibly nice, always makes time to chat… sometimes the general tso is so good it make me weep. the won ton soup is exactly perfect —sometimes excellent and oftentimes better
