If you are looking for a slightly healthier fast food restaurant, Swiss Chalet is a good start. The chicken as always hot and juicy, you can order it with fries or a salad. or both.The fries are real freshly cut potatoes and they give you a heaping helping. The Caesar Salad is amazing too.if you like garlic bread. get the garlic cheese loaf. mmm. this is such a good loaf. You will not be disappointedSwiss Chalet is our Go To choice for a quick, tasty dinner.

We had a very nice meal at Swiss Chalet in Orleans (Ottawa.) The service was good and Swiss Chalet chicken and sauce are always good. There is a lot more variety to the menu but we always stick to our quarter-chicken meals! You can't go wrong!

One waiter in particular out shines the rest when serving customers and when he is there we always ask to be seated in his section (he may also be a manager.) The food is always delivered quick and hot. If there's a problem it is corrected quickly and pleasantly. The restaurant is clean. There have been other servers who made us feel like we were bothering them and never to rarely checked on us to see if we required anything or if our meals were alright. That is a rare occurrence though.

We visited the Location on Innes Road today in Orleans. After a few recent bad experience this was a bright spot. Service was excellent and the food was fresh, good portions and exceeded our expectations. Bravo! Our waitress made sure all our needs were met and we wanted for nothing

Let me start by saying that I am a die-hard Swiss Chalet fan! Love this chain!I have to admit though, that this location is leaving a bit to be desired.I usually order the standard quarter white with fries. the other day I was feeling like some comfort food so I opted for the hot chicken sandwich.What I got was pretty much a giant uncut chunk of chichen breast on bread, drizzled with gravy . Now I am not expecting The Ritz here, but at least slice up the meat in the sandwich for the customer. The best part of a hot chicken sandwich is having the gravy meld in with the meat. That can't happen if the meat comes atcha in two giant pieces!It was a little disappointing to see that so little effort was made in the kitchen ( I should note too that the dining room was practically empty so there is no excuse for this lack of effort)Wait Staff aren't exactly known for their pleasantries at this location and our last visit was no exception.We customers show up with our money in hand expecting a decent meal and pleasant service. We do not expect a half-assed meal to be slapped before us by someone who makes us feel as though we are an imposition.I think it's time for management to have a look at how they're running the show over there.
