Green Rebel (Rideau Centre) - Ottawa

We wanted a quick bite to eat without eating fast food. We were pleasantly surprised by the great healthy food at the Green Rebel.

This is a very welcome option in the Rideau Centre food court. They have creative and very filling salad and wraps, prepared fresh. Customisation is possible and there are several protein options for vegans and vegetarians. Plus you can use real dishes and cutlery. I have never been disappointed.

My wife, sister and I stopped here because the restaurant we wanted was closed for Canada Day. Incredible sandwiches with very fresh ingredients.

This location is always out of ingredients! Every time I go, they are missing key things and you never end up with the salad you want. Also, the people who work there are never friendly. Their other downtown location is so much better! Cleaner, better stocked and such friendly faces! It's only a few blocks away so definitely skip the Rideau location if you can.

In town for work and went to the Rideau Centre for a quick lunch. I ordered the Chicken Feta salad and a Peaches and Greens smoothie. When I sat down to eat, I discovered that there was no chicken in my salad and due to time constraints could not go back. My smoothie was delicious though and that is why I am being so generous with my rating.
