Golden Baguette Bakery - Ottawa

This restaurant offers very reasonably priced, delicious freshly baked bread and pastries of high quality. Their coffee is also exceptional. I will definitely visit this place every time I am in town.

This restaurant is amazing! The Vietnamese ice cream is delicious, the sandwiches, spring rolls, and flowers are fresh and tasty (my favorite is the pork or vegetable steam volume), and the broth and berries options are fantastic. The prices are great and the people who run the place are wonderful!

I recently visited this bakery that recently changed ownership, and I am glad I did. The decision to stop by was a great one, as their Vietnamese sandwiches (banh mi) were top-notch. They were better than most banh mi shops in Ottawa. Everything was made fresh to order and served on a crispy baguette, with fresh vegetables and a delicious layer of Vietnamese pate. I can't wait to try their other sandwiches and dishes. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, considering the current cost of food in Canada. It's definitely worth more than what they are charging.

Just stumbled into this place as a pleasant surprise. A nice combination of a Chinese takeout place and conventional bakery with many vegetarian options. Good pricing, staff and location. Better than Subway and will definitely be returning for their cheap stirfries!
