Fratelli's has a relaxing atmosphere - it has high ceilings, lots of wood and old Italian pictures as wallpaper. Both of our pizzas were delicious - they were generous in size, too. The staff were attentive, friendly and informative. A lovely meal. View all feedback.
What John Rayer doesn't like about Fratelli Restaurants:
The service is good, but the food varies from average to really unacceptable. I ordered two pasta dishes for my wife and I on the weekend and had to send them both back, it totally ruined the evening. If an Italian restaurant cannot produce a...good Alfredo or Carbonara then something is really wrong. The manager did comp our salad and wine but the evening was a waste and that's why I will never go back. View all feedback.
We discovered Fratelli's quite by accident while heading to NFLD and are so pleased as our lunch stop was exquisite from beginning to end. Add friendly, courteous staff and a great wine selection and it all explains why Fratelli's was crowded mid-afternoon on a Tuesday! Well done!
How do I know? Well, tables packed together so tightly diners had to shift to let wait staff pass. Selling wine at triple the LCBO price. Mains arriving shortly after appetizers. Substituting an even more expensive wine, catching the error but not correcting the bill. (could have been an honest mistake I guess, but watch your bill....) The positive side to our visit was the food, and that's why you go to a restaurant!
Very friendly staff, excellence customer service. Delicious food & plenty of it. Had to take leftovers home for next day.
The service was great and the food was good but I found it a bit on the expensive side. There is one thing that is puzzling; my husband took a piece of bread, from the bread basket) and there was something dark on the side. Because the lights are quite dim it was hard to see what it was, mould or something else? none the less, we all (we were 11) enjoyed our dinner
The food, service and atmosphere were fabulous. We ordered the calamari, which were cooked to perfection, spaghetti and meatballs and 2 pizzas, both of them Alessandro and Quattro Stagioni were perfect. The crusts were thin and nicely cooked. The sauce in all three dishes tasted homemade - so good!Our server was attentive and great.When we return to the area we will return to this restaurant.
