What User doesn't like about Elgin Street Diner:
Went here for dinner with family/friends. I had a the chili dog with gouda cheese, while everyone else tried the poutine. My chili dog was excellent, but the reviews of the poutine were not as good. The fries/gravy were not hot enough to melt the cheese curds. Our server was friendly and prompt. Will come back for breakfast though. View all feedback. What User likes about Elgin Street Diner:
We went here twice during our visit to ottawa. The portions are huge and food was awesome. Our server catered to our every need and the food came super fast. We made a special trip back just for dessert. The red velvet cake and the peanut butter pie were to die for!!! Highly recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.

read moreElgin Street Diner offers fast and efficient service with friendly staff. The menu features carb-loaded meals with grease, perfect for post-night out cravings. While vegetarian options are limited compared to the array of meat specialties, vegan dishes are available upon request. The milkshakes are a highlight, and the prices have slightly increased. Overall, the food was average and a bit pricey, but the service was attentive and quick. The atmosphere may be more appealing to meat lovers, but vegetarians and vegans can still find something to enjoy at this bustling 24-hour diner in Ottawa.
