Been to this place once it was great the second time too. The service is slow but the food makes up for it and goes many times over. The food prep presentation all was great though I feel we get cheated on portion size on dube in especially for the dal Bukhara. But over all a great experience. View all feedback.

I went there for dinner on Nov 1, 2016 with my girlfriend. The customer service is absolutely horrible. Reached there at 9:30 pm. I get the food at 9:50, we start eating and at 9:55 the server comes and asks us "to eat quickly as they close at 10." I was annoyed at what he said. At 10:05 he comes back again with the bill in his hand and asks us to pay the bill while we were still eating. I have never experienced such... View all feedback.

This restaurant feels a little bit different ambiance-wise. The sound system was broken when we were there and it felt like a very plain restaurant. You might think the food will be similar. You would be wrong, though. The service was very good and the Indian food was excellent! The waiters adjusted the spice level to suit our tastes and it was great! Overall this Indian restaurant should be considered when you are looking for a laid back atmosphere while you eat some excellent Indian food. It's relatively near the airport (about 10 mins) so something to consider if you are travelling.
First time there and had enjoyable tasty Lamb dishes, Punjab fish, etc. Good portions, nicely spiced with nicely toasted Naan. They have a large menu which is on line as they seem to have a reasonable amount of takeout being ordered. Would certainly go again. Only downside was the waitress could have been a little more attentive. For those wanting Indo-Pak dishes as well as vegetarian worth a visit.

The server has no decency at all. I won't recommend it to anyone as the food was also not good. They ruined my experience.
I have eaten here twice and been disappointed in the food both times. Looking at the reviews, perhaps there has been a change in the kitchen staff in 2015 because the earlier reviews are more positive than the recent ones. The samosas are wrapped in rubbery pastry. The chicken honestly seemed as though it had been deep-fried long ago and placed in the sauce. I forget the name of the dish, but the waiter told me it would have pineapple but I couldn't see any. Ottawa has lots of great south Asian restos and this one needn't be on anyone's last. Sure it is the only place in town that offers Haka food, but I think one is better off in Toronto for that particular feast.
